Information we collect

Account data: your email address and authentication details when you sign up.

Store & product data: the Shopify store credentials you connect, and the 1688 product data you choose to collect and process.

Usage data: actions you take in the app, credit and job history, and basic technical logs (IP, browser, timestamps) used for security and reliability.

Payment data: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

How we use your information

To provide the service — scraping, image cleaning, AI rewriting, category matching, and publishing to your connected store.

To operate your account, process credits and subscriptions, and provide support.

To secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and features.

How we share information

Service providers we use to run Prodinxy: hosting/infrastructure, our payment processor (Stripe), email delivery, and AI model providers used to generate listings. These providers process data only to perform services for us.

Your connected platforms: we send the content you generate to the Shopify store you connect, at your direction.

Legal reasons: if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Browser extension

The Prodinxy browser extension runs only on 1688.com product pages and on app.prodinxy.com. It cannot access any other site you visit, and it does not read your browsing history, bookmarks, or cookies.

On a 1688 product page it acts only when you click it. At that point it reads the listing shown on that page — title, price, images, variants, specifications and supplier details — and sends it to Prodinxy so you can import it into your account.

It stores four things locally in your browser: your Prodinxy sign-in token, your account email, the store you picked as the import target, and your import preferences. These stay on your device and are removed when you sign out or uninstall the extension.

The extension transmits data only to Prodinxy (app.prodinxy.com and api.prodinxy.com). It contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.

We do not sell or transfer extension data to third parties, use it for any purpose unrelated to importing products into your store, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data retention & security

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no method is 100% secure.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and close your account, by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g. GDPR/CCPA).

International transfers

Prodinxy is operated using infrastructure that may process data in other countries. We take steps to ensure your data is handled consistently with this policy wherever it is processed.

Children's privacy

Prodinxy is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
